Baltimore Review News: Baltimore Review 2025 is going out to all the contributors in this print compilation. I made a formatting adjustment, got another sample copy, and it looked fine. So I’ve started sending copies from Amazon KDP: Library of Congress, NewPages, a couple of “best of” anthologies, and the contributors, of course. Working my way through the alphabet; the first contributor copy already landed on a porch, according to an Amazon delivery photo, might have been next to a kitty litter container.
We’re all set for the Baltimore Book Festival, September 13-14. We’ll have books to sell and writer games to play, and we enjoy talking to all the festival attendees! If you’re there, look for us, OK?
The Baltimore Writers’ Conference is back! It’s scheduled for November 15 at Towson University, and the journal will have a table at the conference as we have in the past. Always a great conference, and I look forward to hearing more details.
On a personal note: My writing life has been pretty much consumed by journal responsibilities. That’s going to be the case now and then. So it goes. But I continue to join the Poets & Writers Monday morning Zoom meetings, and there’s a Poets & Writers write-in this Saturday. Eventually, I’ll catch up with all the great Chill Subs Forever Workshops. Lots of lessons and exercises there. And I participate in a couple of critique groups—great for accountability.
This fall is starting to look super busy. Need to up my time-management game.
